The road tunnel was driven in cooperation with the Croatian company Konstruktor from Split. The works were carried out using classic mining mechanisms.

 

The tunnel was driven by the Austrian tunnelling method in a combination of steel bolts, mesh and sprayed concrete. The total tunnel length is 480 m.
